1. Do you offer weekly pool maintenance?
Currently, Olympic Pools does not provide weekly maintenance service. However, we do offer seasonal openings/closings, repairs, inspections, leak detection, and upgrades. Weekly maintenance may be available in the near future.
2. How do I schedule a service appointment?
You can easily request service online through our Service Request Form, call one of our retail locations, or stop by in person.
3. What areas do you serve?
Our service department covers the Wyoming Valley and much of Northeastern Pennsylvania, including Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, Dallas/Back Mountain, Pittston, Clarks Summit, Lake Ariel, and Lake Wallenpaupack—within about 40 miles of Taylor, PA.
4. Can you repair fiberglass and above-ground pools?
Yes. In addition to vinyl liner pools, we provide plumbing and equipment repairs for fiberglass and above-ground pools.
5. Do you offer leak detection services?
Yes. We specialize in leak detection and patching for vinyl liner, fiberglass, and above-ground pools. (Note: we do not handle concrete shell leaks but can assist with plumbing leaks.)
6. How often should I replace my pool liner?
Most vinyl liners last 8–12 years, depending on care, usage, and water chemistry. Our team can help you determine when it’s time for a replacement.
7. Can you replace my safety cover?
Absolutely. We install and replace Coverlon and other safety covers to keep your pool secure and protected during the off-season.
8. Do you handle pool inspections for real estate transactions?
Yes. Our certified pool inspection services are ideal for buyers and sellers to assess a pool’s condition before closing on a home.
9. When should I schedule my pool opening or closing?
We recommend scheduling openings 2–4 weeks before you plan to swim and closings before the first freeze of the season. Our schedule fills quickly, so booking early is best.
10. What brands do you service and carry parts for?
We carry and service equipment from Hayward, Latham, Sundance Spas, Cornelius, and other top manufacturers, along with chemicals from Solenis, Poolife, and FROG.
